Online Employment Application : Employee Requirements
Pre-employment Requirements
- Applicants must file an application. Selected applicants must successfully pass an
oral interview, a drug screen, a thorough background investigation which includes
credit history, DMV or driving record, reference and employment checks, and
criminal history checks.
- Selected applicants will be given a conditional offer of probationary employment
after completion of the steps listed above. At that time, Oregon State DPSST Certification
must be completed prior to scheduling and deployment in the field. We
can assist with your certification.
Physical Requirements
- Applicants must be in good health, and have hearing and sight ability at a level
where it will not interfere with the ability to perform job functions and maintain personal safety.
- Applicants must have the ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds on an ongoing basis.
- Applicants must have the physical ability to stay alert, defend themselves, and stand
for extended periods of time.
- Applicants must posses the ability to fluently communicate verbally in English, and
the ability to exercise good judgment to protect themselves and others from harm.
